1. Order Acceptance & Payment Terms
1.1 Payment Methods
We accept payments via:
- Bank Transfer
- Debit/Credit Cards
- Payment Processors (Flutterwave, Paystack, etc.)
1.2 Cash on Delivery (COD) – Lagos Only
- COD is available only for customers in Lagos State.
- Customers must first pay the delivery fee before their order is shipped.
- The remaining product cost is paid upon delivery.
- If the customer refuses delivery after dispatch, only the product cost is refundable (delivery fees are non-refundable).
1.3 Prepayment for Other States (Outside Lagos)
- Customers outside Lagos must pay the full product cost + delivery fee before shipping.
- No COD is available for orders outside Lagos.
1.4 Non-Refundable Logistics Fees
- Dispatch/delivery fees are non-refundable once paid, as our logistics partners are third-party services.
- Giwu Store does not control external logistics, and any delivery delays or issues must be resolved directly with the courier service.
2. Order Processing & Shipping
2.1 Order Confirmation
- Orders are processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation.
- Customers will receive tracking details via email/SMS once shipped.
2.2 Delivery Timeframe
- Lagos: 1-3 business days
- Other States: 3-7 business days (subject to logistics delays)
2.3 Failed Deliveries
- If a customer is unavailable after two delivery attempts, the order will be returned, and a restocking fee (10%) may apply for refunds.
3. Returns & Refunds
3.1 Eligibility
- Returns are accepted within 7 days for defective/wrong items.
- Products must be unused, in original packaging, with proof of purchase.
3.2 Refund Process
- Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days after return approval.
- Delivery fees are non-refundable.
4. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate delivery details (wrong addresses may incur extra fees).
- Inspect goods upon delivery before payment (for COD orders).
5. Limitation of Liability
- Giwu Store is not liable for:
- Delays caused by logistics partners.
- Damages during transit (claims must be made to the courier).
- Incorrect orders due to customer-provided wrong details.
6. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our website means you accept the revised Terms.
